SCL Automotive Group is a South Australian, family owned and operated dealer group based in Reynella, 20kms south of the Adelaide CBD. Employing over 100 people, our group comprises of Reynella Mazda, Southern Volkswagen, Southgate Used Cars, Southgate GWM Haval, Southgate LDV and EV Moto SA. We currently deliver over 200 vehicles a month with an annual turnover more than $100 million per annum. We have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated, well presented, and passionate candidates, with a desire to learn, to build a career with a large Dealership group. These positions will be based in one of our three workshops based in Reynella and require no prior experience but a desire to build a future in the automotive industry. The role would be suited to school leavers but would also be suited to people of any age, with a passion for cars and all things automotive. To become an apprentice at Southgate Automotive, we are looking for the following: A passion for Automotive and the desire to become a highly skilled and professional Technician Well-spoken with the ability to speak to people across all levels of the dealership and customers Strong sense of self-motivation and enthusiasm with a high work ethic and 'can do' attitude Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Professional presentation at all times Punctuality Current Driver's License or Provisional Driver's License is preferred (but could be flexible for applicants who are not yet old enough to obtain license.)
